It is maybe the only place in the world where you can see freshwater dolphins and tigers, in their natural habitat, on the same day!

Welcome  to Jungle Base Camp at  Bardia  National park, the largest national park in the lowland Terai region of Nepal  covering an area  of 986 sq km .  Bardia is widely acknowledged  as the best place to see a fantastic range of wildlife form Gangetic freshwater dolphins,  Royal Bengal Tigers, rhinos,wild elephants, crocodiles and over 400 species of birds. It is maybe  the only place in the world where you can  you see freshwater dolphins and  tigers, in their natural habitat, on the same day ! the park is a little further for some than Chitwan National park, though if it is wildlife and notnightlife  you are after, then this could be the destination for you.
