The JUNGLE BASE CAMP

Namaskar,

Our lodge Jungle Base Camp is in the remote Tharu village of Thakudbaba, formerly known as Thakudwara, on the border of the national park. It is a short distance from the park head quarters and an ideal place to base yourself for your activities or just to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world.

Our lodge offers clean and quiet facilities within our spacious garden. We also have a place where we grow our own organic vegetables like tomatoes, cucumber, beans and chili peppers.

Jungle base camp offers a range of accommodation from budget to mid range, and has taken great care in the decoration of  the lodge, building each room in a fully traditional Tharu ethnic style. Our menu includes continental cuisine and Nepali dishes including local Tharu food and drinks. All your activities and travel needs can be organized from the comfort of the lodge.
